OUR STORY
For over two decades, Arts Mildura has been part of the cultural life of our region, delivering landmark festivals, supporting artists and creating opportunities for people to experience and participate in the arts.
In 2026, Arts Mildura evolves into Mallee Arts coLab. We are still here, still creating and still building on more than 20 years of experience, relationships and creative work. We just look a little different.
As Mallee Arts coLab, our work is more deeply grounded in community, reaching beyond events and festivals to work alongside local artists, communities and partners throughout the year. Our focus is on creating opportunities together, strengthening local creative practice and making it easier for more people to participate in the arts.
It is not the end of Arts Mildura, but the next chapter of its story: more connected to community, more collaborative and reaching further across the Mallee.
More than a name change, it represents a shift toward year-round, community-led creative practice grounded in equity, justice and collaboration.

03. The lab
Located at 106-108 Pine Ave, 'The Lab' is our dedicated creative hub.
We facilitate user groups, manage studio residencies, and grow activations that give artists and community groups the space to experiment, create, connect and present.
04. ADVOCACY
We are tireless advocates for the arts, promoting creativity as essential to our collective wellbeing and regional vitality.
By championing the role of the arts in healthcare, education, and local government, we ensure that creative thinking is recognised as a primary driver of a healthy, resilient Mallee.
05. CAPACITY BUILDING + PROMOTION
By providing professional development, connecting artists with high-level opportunities, and actively promoting local work to wider audiences, we build the capacity of our creative sector to be a self-sustaining economic engine.
